Dermal Fillers
Volume, Contour, and Natural Results
As we age, the face naturally loses volume. Fat pads that gave the face its youthful fullness begin to shift and diminish, bones subtly remodel, and collagen production slows. The result is a face that looks hollower, more tired, or less defined even when you feel great. Dermal fillers address this by restoring what's been lost, adding back the subtle fullness that supports a more youthful and rested appearance.
Most fillers used today are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body and draws water to wherever it's placed. This creates a soft, natural-feeling result that integrates well with surrounding tissue. Because HA fillers are reversible with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, they offer a safety net that makes them particularly well-suited for first-time patients.
Results are visible immediately after treatment, though some swelling in the first day or two is normal. The full, settled result is typically visible within one to two weeks. Depending on the product used and the area treated, results last anywhere from six months to two years.

Where Fillers Can Help
The most commonly treated areas include the lips, cheeks, under-eye hollows, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jawline. Each area has its own technique and requires a slightly different approach, which is why placement, product selection, and the injector's skill all matter considerably.
Lip filler is one of the most requested treatments, and when done well it enhances the shape and hydration of the lips without looking overdone. Under-eye filler addresses the hollow, shadowed look that makes people appear tired regardless of how much sleep they've had. Cheek filler lifts and supports the midface, which can have a rejuvenating effect on the entire lower face as well.
We take a conservative, facial-balancing approach to filler. Rather than treating each area in isolation, we look at the face as a whole and prioritize natural-looking results that enhance rather than change who you are.
Fillers deliver immediate, natural-looking results with no downtime, restoring volume and definition where the face has changed with age.

Does filler hurt?
Most fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which makes the treatment quite comfortable. We also apply topical numbing cream beforehand. Most patients describe mild pressure rather than pain.
How long do fillers last?
It depends on the product and the area treated. Lip filler typically lasts six to nine months. Cheek and under-eye filler can last a year to two years. Denser products used for structure tend to last longer than softer ones used for hydration.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is rarely necessary but knowing the option exists gives many patients peace of mind, especially when trying filler for the first time.
How soon can I see results?
Results are visible immediately, though some mild swelling is normal for the first day or two. The final settled result is typically visible within one to two weeks once any initial swelling has resolved.
